Cova Lima is situated in the western part of the country and it borders with Indonesia to the west. Suai is the capital of the Cova Lima Municipality, which is the most distant from Dili. Cova Lima has potential for nature and adventure tourism.
CBET development in this region is still very modest, in terms of lodges, restaurants, handicraft, etc. The main obstacle to CBET in Cova Lima is lack of infrastructure, especially road access from Dili, so consequently Cova Lima receives a limited number of international and national visitors.
